I've always used hoses with cam connects. I like the flexibility (no pun intended) of pulling them off for easy cleaning or if I need to do a custom connection. I've just recently mounted my 3 keggle herms system semi permanently to a brew pole and have determined that I don't need to pull them off to clean them. I therefore could get dedicated hard lines to/from the pump.

I'm interested to hear from those with hard lines if you have experienced any negatives (other than upfront cost $$) or if you have any suggestions. How do you ensure they are fully cleaned out?

Thanks.
