Happy International Stout Day!

In Celebration here are pictures of the various stouts I currently have in my beer fridge. I have a selection of examples from local craft breweries. For homebrew I have a ris on tap, a milk stout on tap and a choclate raspberry sour milk stout in bottles.

The unlabeled one is a HB IS with some vanilla and aged on both rum and bufalo trace soaked oak chips

It's all good! It is international stout day in that it is Stout day the world over, not that it is the day for stouts from other countries. It's opposed to national days that vary country to country, like how your national homebrew day is in May whereas ours here in Canada is in June.

I'm away from my beloved imperial chocolate stout tap doing electrical work up at our NH house, but did lay in a four pack of Young's on the way up.

It in no way compares to mine, but it will do

Belching Beaver Sticky Pawz

comprehensive list! One of my local breweries is called Black Lab Brewery and everything is very dog themed including all their beer names. Their maple stout is also called sticky paws. I think I like the visual of a black lab with sticky paws more then a belching beaver with sticky pawz if I had to decide

There is a brewpub local to me that is called BlackLab and they have a dog as a logo although no dog reference in the name here hahaha

Usual logo isn't as sinister looking, but as you might be able to see from the description, this one certainly is sticky...and sweet. A little too much for my taste, but it is worth a try for sure.

and I've got a chocolate lab, who gets into just about everything so yeah...that resonates in this household.
