I was wondering if anyone had some experience with these. They seem an attractive option for kegging my 1 gallon batches. Ive looked at others (ukeg, mancan, keg smiths, drinktank) and this one seems like the most reasonably priced. $159
Iwould like to force carbonate and i will need the ability to use larger cartridges, perhaps be able to move on to a paint-gun CO2 tank in the future. (I got space issues)

Thoughts?

I just got the 64oz version of this. The regulator is a bet tricky but other than that they're awesome. You have to pour real slow or else it foams to much. The trick I learned was to set the PSI around 8, purge (pull pressure relief valve) right before you start pouring a pint.

Thanks! How much head space do you have to leave on yours? Im considering the 5l for my 1 gallon batches. Or should i just get the 1 gallon capacity.

I have a couple of the mancans. I would prefer to have a ball lock disconnect on the cap vs. the co2 fitting on that unit. Also, I would plan on replacing that faucet for one with flow control.

I fill mine to the top but its already carbed, if your force carbing on this I would leave a little more room so there could be more CO2 coverage over the beer.
