So after some feedback from this community about my hoppy Saison recipe (thank you HBT!), I decided to add guava as it is being made for a family beach treat. Looking for info on “guava in Homebrew” was sparse, I found some selective info mostly saying “use fresh, don’t use peels, don’t put seeds in” and a whole lot of “I’ve never done it but, this is what I would do”. After finding https://www.craftbrewingbusiness.co...cused-beer-using-puree-oregon-fruit-products/ I decided to use purée. I am using 64fl oz. in a 5 gallon batch. I wanted to post my experience so that other brewers would have access to the info I needed at the time. Will be updating after brew day this Saturday.
