Hi folks!
I've been browsing through this forum for a few hours now and decided I should probably join.
I'm a 27 year old system administrator living about an hour out of Los Angeles, and I've been helping a few friends homebrew for a year or two now. I recently decided that I should probably get started on my own when I asked if we could make a batch of beer for my dad's upcoming birthday, and my friend panned me.
I'm a fan of anachronistic things anyway, my other hobbies include blacksmithing and leatherworking/carving.
Anyway, everyone seems great, and there's a wealth of knowledge I look forward to absorbing and contributing to. It's nice to meet everyone!
