Hi all! New to the site and Home brewing.

For Christmas my wife bought me the MR. Beer Home brewing kit. Just started the first batch las night, too bad the "keg" that came with the box leaked at the spiket badly! last minute had to find another container!

oh well.

Great looking site and I hope to be around here for a long time.

:mug:

I've heard there are some good micros out there now. I left Vegas in '94. If there was anything of note back then, I never found it.

Mike, does LV have any homebrew stores yet? We get a few customers from there, and we're in Tempe, Az.

WELCOME to the Forums!

So you do know that now if anybody here is visiting Vegas you are obligated to put them up don't you? :D Welcome to HBT, if you have any questions ask them but you might find doing a quick search faster.

<sause> Thanks and i don't think the wifey would let me have a sleep over :D

<skou> Not sure if there are any home brew stores out here... www.brew-kits.com is located out here. There is a place called:

Beer & Beer Gear
4972 S Maryland Pky
Las Vegas, NV 89119
(702) 736-8504

maybe i'll have to stop by this weekend.

<David_42> as for Micro Brews... eh... I'm kinda a Beer snob and really only like certain types of Beers. I'm a Stout Man myself (my beer and my shape, lol). i buy a few beers at the local Trader Joe's. I'm partial to Mackeson's Triple Stout.
