Hello everyone! My brother and I have been brewing for about 2 months now with two batches under our belts, a cream ale and an Irish stout. I've been lurking the forums for a month or two as well, but now I'm hoping I can start learning and contributing!

Hi malloymeister! I'm from DE too, the forums is a wealth of knowledge so soak it all up.

Welcome! Its a great online-community to be part of.

I'm in Magnolia, DE!

Hey thanks guys, it's great to know there are locals around doing the same thing. Where do you guys normally get supplies and equipment from? I've been going to a place up in Newark but it would be nice to find a place closer to Dover.

There's the one in Newark, and another in Millsboro/Lewes. I usually order most of my ingredients online, mainly BrewmastersWarehouse.com

Welcome fellow Delawarean, I use the Newark HDYB when I need to but usually get most my stuff online. The next closest I have found is Philly or Lancaster Pa.
--Newark.

Your best bet is to get in on the group buys. There is one going on now. Search for south phily group buy round 15, it is a lot cheaper than the LHBS
