we are a brew team.. me and her.. her and i.. :)

forgive me if i wonder but i have to ponder...over the batch i just brewed and the brew i just consumed..probably not the time to say hi...but like the brew "bible" says.. relax and have a home brew.. but since store bought is all i have cold and ready it will have to do..

used to brew alot in the 90's ..got away from it..but thanks to a beer loving girl im back to it.

just finished our first brew... a light honey ale.. all looks good and all turned out well.. am looking forward to working with different brews and already have the second batch ready to go, a partial mash... a sweet honey ale that is deemed a "girl beer" but since its for her it will be ok..

am open to suggestions and comments..

looking forward to brewing more!!!

OK. Where did you find her and does she have a sister?

Oh wait. I'm already married. Never mind. Dang!;)

Welcome to the forum and my first question is what beers do you guys like? Let us know and we can make suggestions.
:mug:

thanks... we are both looking forward to the first batch of a honey pale ale..

we both tend like a lager/pilsner type ... but since we dont have a spare fridge..any suggestions for making an ale with similar characteristics would be appreciated...she likes a sweeter lighter beer...even with some flavoring like raspberry in it..

next we are gonna brew something that will be a bit sweeter and lighter .. once the fermentor is free. we will be brewing up the second batch..

btw.. im just lucky.. got a girl who loves beer .. i think even maybe more than me! she was just as excited about brewing as i was.. possibly even more so...

today we went and got all the supplies for the next brew which was hand picked by her.. looking forward to it. it will be a partial mash with some really good grains...

Welcome Sailman,

I know I've received a lot of help here and everyone is much more mature than I've witnessed on other forums.

:off: With a name like Sailman is it safe to say you're a sailor? Do you own a sailboat? I ask because my wife is interested in sailing and our backup plan to having children is chucking it all and moving to the Caribbean.

Welcome aboard.

Jason

Another one - hang on - two! (Mrs sailman - i.e. beerluvngrl) from NC? I remember a time when this forum was just Texans and Brits!;) Welcome on board! Hope you enjoy it!:D
