Hello, I am stationed overseas and the beer here is amazing, figure better learn to make my own since when im back stateside I will miss the fresh tasting beer. Looking at getting some supply's just need to find a company that will ship to APO. If anyone knows of any brew supply stores in South Germany please let me know

Welcome to the hobby and the site! Unfortunately I think a lot of stores that I use will not ship to an APO because of import laws and regulationwith the products they sell, at least that's what they say. Hopefully you will be able find a place and start brewing soon.

My son is in Ramstein and, while he got his Coopers DIY Kit.. I think he will have trouble getting some things he wants directly from a supply store online.. or otherwise. I haven't researched this much.. but, my gut feel is that I should be able to ship things to him that I buy.

I'm encouraging him to reach out as time permits to find a LHBS.. I'll bet there are a bunch of guys on base that brew.. but not sure how to find out. :( I know his studies and family take up a bunch of extra time... and that's good.
