Greeting from Austin TX

Hello there! Well I am pretty excited to get back into Home Brewing. Been a long time, but I still sorta remember how to do things, and hopefully what I find here will help fill in the blanks. A buddy of mine and I dropped some coin at the HB store here today to get all the gear we needed, and get all the goodies to make a 5 gallon batch of Double IPA. I am getting the garage organized today and tonight.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine, it's really not that hard. I remember how paranoid I was on my first batch.

You have one of the best homebrew shops I have EVER been to down there in Austin! I still order things from them online from time-to-time. I'm a huge fan of Austin in general, almost moved there.

Yes, Austin Homebrew is the best. The Austin Zealots is a great club and meets regularly. See the web page for monthly meetings and the forum for weekly meets at pubs around town.
