Has any one used green coffee as an additive? I'm brewing a stout in a few weeks and I plan on splitting the batch with 05 and some dregs from my cellar. I have been thinking of adding a touch of green coffee to the sour side.
I'm also thinking what other direction I could go with green coffee but I'm kinda drawing a blank.

I'm not sure how much flavor you'd get from green coffee and if it would be a good flavor or not. I've chewed on green coffee beans several times, and i wouldn't really say that they taste great. I'd try soaking the beans in water or vodka on a small scale to see what kind of flavor it picks up. A couple of google search results do not make it sound promising:
