So I bottles a dark beer og 1.047 ft 1.011. It's carded for a week. And tastes like green apples. Needs time.
Question: How long have you waited for the young beer green apple taste to go away?

I would try another in a week or two if you think it's at least close to what the finished product should be. Dark beers tend to benefit from a little extra conditioning anyhow. That flavor is probably acetaldehyde, and it often conditions out. What yeast did you use and what temp was it fermented at?

My beers taste best around 7 weeks, green apple taste goes away around 5 weeks.

But it was beer that you made? Next time I would highly recommend using beer yeast instead of wine yeast, as it is quite a bit different. That fermenting temp is fairly high as well. I would suggest Nottingham, S-04 or S-05 dry yeasts and ferment in the low 60's next time.
