Please help. Bought a kit of pink moscato.

I followed all directions and am now waiting to bottle but the gravity won't drop back below .996 to bottle.

Did I miss something stupid/simple?

Scott

What's your SG now? Mascato is a sweet wine. .996 I would consider very dry= no sugar. Did the directions say .996? I ask cause I am not familiar with kits.

I just bottled a pink moscato about 3 weeks ago, don't know the FG because I didn't bother measuring it but I am positive it is much higher than 0.996 after adding the F-pack.My guess would be no lower than 1.010 and probably higher, it is a very sweet wine but also very tasty.
It is not suppose to drop after you stabilize and add the F-pack.

Oh my freaking goodness...newbie mistake. I was reading the wrong d@mn step in the process hahahahaha!!! Guess I'm bottling this weekend.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious to the new guy :(

My many thanks to the group!!
