Gravity reading after carbonating?

I've been wondering this on an academic level for a while, but now I actually need to know because I forgot to take a final reading before I kegged and carbonated. I'm wondering if there's an issue with taking a reading from carbonated beer, (other than being able to see the hydrometer through the head!)

You will not get an accurate reading unless you get all of the gas out of solution, which isn't too hard.

Pull your sample and stir it to release the gas, and it should be fine.
