In the middle of my first brew and something occurred to me. Should I have started seeping my grains while the water heats up to 150 or put the bag in when it hits 150?

Thanks for your reply, and once I hit the submit button I realized that I neglected to add a t to seep...

I wondered the same thing when I did my first steep. I just added them to the water once they had reached the desired temperature and have always used that method. If you do that then get your water about 5 degrees over your optimum temperature because once you add the grains it will cool back down.
