Hey guys,

I was wondering what a good base malt would be for a lager. I'm looking for a grain that will produce a nice dry corn flavor in a lager. What's a good choice in your opinion? (looking for a brand)

Thanks

If its an American style lager you are going after i would say a good 2 row, i like briess.

And i think you need to add corn to the mash to get that corn flavor.

I'd do 2-row OR Pils but I suppose you could combine both. It really depends on what flavor your shooting for. What style of beer is this supposed to be? If its a German style lager I'd use all German pils.
