Holy hell, I just reversed my mashing order of operations by adding my grain into the water and I am CONVERTED. I let the temperature settle to what was needed to get the grain to the right temp, doughed in and hit the temp RIGHT ON THE MONEY.
Never again will I worry about tun mass in all these sparge calculators.
