Grain in a kit ?

Picked up a couple kit around 10 months ago I came across one I didn't use. My question is you guys think the grain is still any good to brew with it has been in an air tight bag, it is milled already. If it still good I was going to pick up some yeast and brew a kit
 
fresher would be better but I'd brew it. you have it, its basically free.

Agred ive had uncrushed in air tight container for 2 years and it was still good maybe not as good as fresh but it still worked! I have also had yeast past its prime and still made good beer :mug:
 
I agree. Go ahead & brew it. But at least rehydrate the yeast for 30 minutes to revive it. 10 months isn't that long. But if the yeast were just on the shelf,they're def going to need reviving.
