I just got a Crankandstein 3D, and copied a design posted on this forum to make a base and hopper.
I made a couple changes, using acrylic for the sides and rabbeting the base to index it to the bucket.

Hopper holds 6-1/2 #, so I'll need to refill it at least once per batch, but that's OK. It was more important to me that the hopper fit inside the bucket for storage.

First crush in a week or so when the fermenter as available. Woo Hoo!

Thanks!
I've run a few batches thru it now, and I'm very happy with how it works.
I do find that the mill needs a lot of power when the gap is tight. I use a Milwaukee 1/2" Magnum corded drill, anything less would be marginal.
