Hi all. Is this a suitable mill? Seller wants $50 for it. Looking for an affordable option.. located in Canada, so that price is in CAD pesos.

Well, 40USD = 55 Loonies today, so the seller is giving a 5 Loony discount from new :)

Anyway...that mill might be great for corn, but at best it'll just be "ok" for barley, wheat and oats, as that mill won't crush, it will only grind, so husks are going to be cut pretty fine and likely won't be very helpful for lautering...

Cheers!

I use a corona mill (as you show above) and it works great! My hulls are virtually all intact and I get a good crush every time. Takes about 5 minutes to mill grain for a 5 gallon batch using an electric drill to drive the mill. I do BIAB.

I followed this instructable: Corona Mill Mods for All Grain Brewing I used two washers and did not do Mod 3.

I've been using a Corona mill for about 3 years works great for 5 gallon batches I see no need to change.
