Going for it. 10 gal in keggle system

Ten gallons (13 gallons pre-boil) in keggles isn't a problem. I've done it several times. Fermcap-S will keep it in the boil kettle - or just keep a close eye on it around hot break time. Both ways have worked for me.

I do 10 gallon batches with a keggle as the BK. I use between 13 and 13.5 gallons preboil for my system, and I've been fine as long as I keep an eye on the boil and cut the flame when adding hops.

My biggest concern is will it all fit in the mash tun. About 30# of grain at 1.25 Qts. per #.

Should take around 11.78 gallons of space or around 47 quarts if you use a cooler instead.

Like mentioned earlier, 13-13.5 pre-boil is completely manageable with a little babysitting.

I only brew 10 gal batches and have done many IPAs in my keggles with no issue. My pre-boil volume is 13gal and I boil down to 11.5gal. Transfer 5.5gal to each carboy. Just keep an eye on the boil for the first few minutes.

One day soon I hope to post the exact same post ;-)

It worked. Maxed out. About an inch from the top mashing. The BK about 2" from top. Hot break went over the side. Came up a little short after the boil. Added about 1/2 gallon of water to the second fermenter

Stoked. Ten gallons from now on!

Glad it worked! 30# is brings it to the tippy top. That happened with a RIS I did a few years ago. What kind of setup do you have in terms of false bottom?
