God is Harpoon Summer Ale Bad

Has anyone tried this years Harpoon Summer Ale? I used to like this as a lawnmower type beer. I picked up a 12 pack of it over the weekend and it tasted like soap....SOAP!!!! I'm not sure if I got a bad 12 pack or if they changed their recipe but it was terrible.

Anyone tried it this year? Inquiring minds want to know!

On second thought...maybe I'm just becoming an EAC?

either that or the fact that its barely april and they have their summer beer out in stores. beer industry is getting to be like shopping malls, everything is 3 months early.

Just an update to this thread. I recently got another 12 pack to try it again and it was good. I must have gotten an improperly handled 12 pack the first time.

Good to hear. They might have also had a bad batch. It happens.
