So I have a blichmann 27 gal conical fermenter. When I dump yeast I never get it all. I'll typically dump yeast a few times but there is always more that hasn't compacted/ settled on the bottom. I would like to know how everyone else has solved this problem. I don't really have the means to cold crash it at this time. my fermentation chamber has always been my pantry.
I had thought about using something to vibrate the conical, thinking that it may break up the clumped yeast, releasing and trapped CO2 as well and the it might all settle out after.
ok let me know what you have to say.
