I'm a fairly new brewer and I'm having trouble getting the clarity right on my beers. I boil at full volume and I use an ice bath and a wort chiller for cold break. Any suggestions?
 
Lots of factors go into beer clarity. Yeast strain, grains, amount of hops, brewing process, cold crashing, fining agents, etc. Too many variables to give a straight answer. But in my opinion, yeast strain and colds crashing are the biggest variables.
 
I've thought about trying the Irish moss but I've been procrastinating. Ill order some with the ingredients on my next batch. My last batch was a Belgian IPA so I'm gonna blame that one on the yeast, I used 3944. It turned out pretty tasty so im not to worried about that one.

If you're going to order anyway, I'd suggest whirlfloc. It's the same basic ingredient but it seems to work so much better for me. A 1/2 tablet in the last 10-15 minutes of your boil and it gives an amazing amount of cold break. The first time I used it, I was amazed- and I'm still using it more than 7 years later because it works so well.
