Here a couple photo's taken after the test firing and wet testing on the new system this weekend.http://picasaweb.google.com/kevin.ladue/WetTestProgressPhotoS/photo#5225298749171009138 Decided to add the combustion venting system for boiler and boil kettle to reduce heat load in space. Kegs are still ugly as I have not put the insulation and SS sheetmetal wrap on them yet. Last items to do are the vent hood for boil kettle and glycol cooling system then interior finish on brew shed

Kladue, can you show us how your BK venting works? Did you cut vent holes in the keg skirt so all the exhaust gases pass through the skirt and into the venting system?

Sounds like a slick idea for venting.

Thanks

**** you have the panel right there, throw 2 6500W elements in there and don't worry about the propane.

well right, if you get too much water, you would need a killer electrical system to heat the water. But for 5-10 gallons.... for 10 gallons 60F to 165F with 13kW, it only takes 13min. That's quick.

but you right 3bbls, you need 130kW to be comparable. Now you would probably need to go 3phase and it would just be a big hassle.
