So, I added gelatin to my Belgian Pale Ale which was fermented with WLP570 (low floc). It was sitting outside in my storage area while the temp dropped into the 30s this past week. I attached a picture of what it looks like now. I mean...four days ago the entire bottle looked like the lower half, but I'm wondering if it is going to stay like this or will it all settle out in a few more days.

It will settle out in time.

Gelatin works by attracting yeast (and other small particles) and forming larger particles which then drop out of solution faster than small particles... It isn't instant, but it is faster than without.
 
I'm aware it isn't instant, but every other article I read said it was crystal clear after a couple days. Not the case yet :)
