Is it possible to have a pipe coming from the output of your co2 canister into your regulator? So the co2 canister does not have to be right next to the regulator?

Or does the CO2 canister have to hook directly into the regulator?

I can not seem to find any pipes or hoses that could do this or I just am not sure about sizing.

Cheers.

Pressure straight from the tank is massive. You'd definitely need to fit up a stem with some hard piping for this. Not sure if there is a hose within reason that could with stand the pressures lest you looked at hydraulic hoses.

they make high pressure CO2 lines that go from tank to reg they are about 40$.

Edit: kegconnections 41$ hose I have one on my tank this way the regs are inside the kegerator and the tank is outside

the description isn't really correct . The large nut connects to the tank then the smaller to the primary regulator. The one I have is rated to 2000 psi it was from a Coke dispenser. CO2 tanks are around 1000 psi when they get hot mine are always around 750 psi in the house.
