my regulator has a split and one line goes into the kegerator and the other i keep outside the kegerator to use as a co2 line to purge things or add pressure to a vessel. i some times stick my finger int the qd just to make sure gas is flowing . i have no idea why . anyway , last time i did this it sprayed out some clear tasteless odorles liquid. is it water? what is it? condednsation? i didnt want this going into anything - beer or lines so i di it a couple more times and it stopped. is it normal to get condensation in a co2 line? my gas lines are not eva , its that blue co2 line.

thanks

Yes it is condensation. If you ever feel like doing something utterly stupid: On a humid day, put your hand about 3"-6" away from the outlet on a disconnected CO2 tank and open the valve for a moment..apart from maybe getting frostbite, you'll likely get some 'instant atmospheric' condensation on your hand maybe amounting to about 1 drop of water. It 'just happens' from time to time. Unless you've overfilled a keg and it's beer-coloured, don't worry about it and don't ask me how or why I know. :p
