Can't say this works from experience, but I came across it so I thought I'd share it.
If you mix 2 tablespoons of live yeast with 2 cups of whey and spray this on your garden, it's supposed to attract ladybugs. Ladybugs of course, eat tons of aphids and are good to encourage in your garden.
If you aren't a cheesemaker and don't have whey, I read you can substitute 2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of sugar for the whey.
I don't have a garden yet, but I think I might spray this around my yard and see if it works!
