Has anyone decided on the details for friday by the way?

we just decided what we were brewing about 15 minutes ago. No idea on time or anything yet.

Anybody got any bottles of uunwanted or showoff homebrew? I stupidly promised my buddy in te beginning of the semester not anticipating tapwater gtossness. I have 2 to give him but they taste like garbage.

Please help! I'll come pick them up tonight if possible

Did Chris say if we could leave any at the shop for you? If not give me a PM shout and you can come pick some up from me tonight if you have the time. I've got an English IPA, a Dunkelweizen and a Vienna/NortherBrewer SMASH bottled that can be chilled and consumed now.

dude, Barron has me teaching the partial mash section of the class this saturday. i've never done a (successful) partial mash. i keep telling him I've never done one, he's just ignoring me. i'm gonna brand him with my heat stick.

I hope so, but I've got a work X-mas party and another X-mas party from my daughter's dance team I have to go to - will have to see how the timing works out. I should be there for the class on Saturday.

It's easy. Mash the grains like you would with all-grain, then just add the malt extract during the boil.

1. I was thinking the 2 gallon cooler, but it would be just as easy to do it in the kettle so long as you kept an eye on the temp.

Yeah, get's me too. I don't know about fittings yet. Got a long way to go with this project. My pump came in today!

I'M thinking about leaving my 5lb tank outside my freezer for some more space. Plus that way when I get a 20 lb I can replace it easier.

Where do you get theses filled? No one in Ocala fills them anymore, you just have to swap them out. I lost my 5 pound new aluminum to a trade in and don't want to lose the 10 (or is it 20) that way.

I think he means that they don't say what kind of ale they are making. Are they making a porter or a wit or pale ale, maybe a belgian variety or a wheat beer? Saying you are making an ale doesn't really help figure out the problem.

When people ask me what kind of ales I make, I usually say "regular," or "the kind with hops." Clears up the confusion instantly.
