I'm hoping this thread will feature light hearted yet comical beer items.

Please add pictures and place of origin if possible.

I know there is a similar thread out there but I've been searching for it for an hour and can't find it. So I'm starting this one.

This was a gift from they said they, they found it at a little store somewhere. I wish I had more details.

I suppose this item perfectly fits the title of this thread ... "fun beer crap".

I always thought the McBeer was pretty amusing (yep, that's what they really call it) ... this is the beer available at McDonalds in Germany and elsewhere.
I think it's brewed by Kronenberg.

my wife got me this book & had this refrigerator magnet made for me. it's fun beer stuff to me. I'm also a fan of the Dead Ringer kit/poster/glass set I got a while back as well. and the Lagerhead Turtle is pretty awesome.

I meant your profile pic. That's a badass head of hair, my friend.

that was a wig I got in a 2nd hand shop. I had to get rid of it. every time I put it on, our timid dog would piss & cower like I was gonna beat her. she had a rough early life before my wife rescued her.

Looking at this pic I'm thinkin the song "Party Train" by the gap band must be played in the background.

I just came across that Burger King has had a couple locations going in Florida that serve beer.
Here's the yelp to at least one of them ...

Supposedly there are others, possibly Vegas?

Anyone ever been to one of these BK's with beer? Wondering what the impression was.

OMG I'd LOVE to have a beer with my Burger King! Yes, I'm saying that and I ain't even drunk!

Big ol' Whopper with those things they call onion rings!

I like Burger Queen more than Micky D's or Wendy's. But a good beer with that flame grilled burger would be good.

A few years back I went to a place near Sun City Center, FLA called Beef O'briens that looked like a Wendy's that had been converted into a bar. Actually it was pretty cool.
I would think a fast food place that sells a decent beer and is physically set up like a Wendy's (etc) with the seating area with all the windows etc would be a marketable idea.

When I worked at Burger King, my manager was an Unkle Popov and orange soda drunk. Does that count?

Worked in a restaurant with a guy who drank Old Mr. Boston Orange Vodka on the job :drunk:.

Behind the line in the kitchen however, we *never* drank. Way too much chance of having a really bad night in the heat of battle.

But we did drink once we stopped serving food and were cleaning up. It always amazed me that no one in the bar area batted an eye when we'd send someone to go fetch us a large gallon-and-a-half metal soup insert full of beer "for beer batter".
Uh huh.
Making beer batter at 11pm at night are we?? Hmmmmm.
