Hello all,
Quick question for the group?
Well after much thought and questing, I decided to move my beer into a secondary (Carboy) about 2 weeks ago. Looking back I wish I would have skipped that step. The day I did it I was in a rush and did not go as planned.

Anyway today I was getting ready to bottle and I noticed a bunch of little white things floating along the top of my beer in the carboy. Is this normal? It looks to me like mold. However, I’m not sure. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks again,

I don't think its CO2 bubbles i looked at them pretty close no bubbles. They look more like very small pieces of bread, or more like the white little balls you get when you break a piece of foam

It could also be yeast an hop debris that didn't settle to the bottom. I've seen this many times. Without a pic, it's impossible to say.

I vote yeasties too. Sometimes they get sucked into the secondary and hang out near the top. Should not be a problem even if they also get into a bottle somehow.

I always see a 'ring' of yeast/bubbles around the carboy, these colonies appear to be about the size of quarter and are evenly spaced around the carboy.
