i am about to brew a porter extract kit. i have a few pounds of figs that i have been soaking in brandy for a couple months. i was going to add them towards the end of the boil in a grain bag to make for easier managing.
but after that... i was thinking about then freezing them after i take them out of the boil and then tossing the same figs into my secondary or my racking bucket.

any thoughts?
