Froze my Brett pack-is it still good?

I had a package of Brux on the top shelf of my fridge and it froze. Is it still useable?
 
I'd guess a lot of cells burst and viability is probably pretty low. You can try making a starter with it and see if it goes or not.

+1 for sure. I've done this a few times before and it can always be remedied with a starter. You didn't kill off everything, just a decent amount of cells that need to be replaced - look at it this way, the dead ones will be food for the replicating ones now!
 
Thanks, I will make a starter. Not sure what I'm going to brew with it yet but hopefully it takes off.
