My bines are over 8 feet and there is a chance of frost tonight here in upstate NY. I know hops are hardy but can they withstand the frost? I have no way to cover all of them at this height. Any feedback appreciated!

I don't grow bines but live in a big hop growing region. We get hard frosts and have not seen the hop fields covered during cold snaps.

They'll be fine. It was 27 degrees here last night, and my centennials and cascades and chinooks even grew overnight! My Zeus, hallertauer, Northern Brewer, and goldings seem taller today as well.
