Hi there,
just about to start up AG brewing out here in Russia.

This is my second year working here and after spending last year drinking terrible Russian beer I didn't want this year to be the same, if you can't buy it, make it, right?

Tomorrow's my day off, 25kg sack of malt arrived yesterday from the nearest supplier I could find (1,700km away)

Pretty excited right now, just need to decide what to brew...

Cheers! Good call on the SMaSH, I was considering that too. I've got a freezer full of hops and some speciality grains that I brought over in my suitcase, finding malt was the biggest pain though. Thinking about a Simcoe IPA to get the ball rolling.

It's getting the temperature down that's the problem! With government regulated heating in most of the tower blocks here my flat stays a nice sweltering 80 degrees 6 months of the year. That said my balcony gets down to the -20s in the middle of winter, Eisbock?
