Quick question, I looked around but didn't see a similar post.

I keg my beer, works great...no problems. I've used the DIY beer gun-picnic-faucet deal to put some in bottles... worked great.

Question: How long can I feasibly store these bottles at 68 degrees? If I cap on foam thus pushing out all the oxygen, am I just good to go? There are times when I want to empty a keg but don't have the refrigerator space to keep all the bottles.

I have heard from people who have used DIY bottling from a keg solutions that they have found bottles 6 months after bottling that still tasted great. I think the key is to make sure that there is no oxygen present. If you can achieve this then they should be good for at least 3-4 months.

Yeast is very hardy. Even after months in a cold keg, they are still there. I bottled some beer from my keg an put in the basement. After several months there was sediment in the bottles. Now, I've kept bottles I've filled in my refridge and they have stayed perfect for over 6 months.....with no sediment at all.

Last night I drank a Black Lager I bottled off of a keg in January. It was great :) I can't speak to how it works after that - It's the longest one on my beers has lived :tank:
