Hello everybody!
I'm an Italian (so sorry for the English, it will improve as I remove the dust) guy who is approaching to the Home Brewing world. I've tried a couple of times with the extract but it was some years ago and I do not count them, so I'm a complete newbie.

I recommend buying John Palmer's excellent book: "How to Brew". Cheap(?) on Amazon.
In an emergency, he used to have an earlier edition free, online. Check it out.

Welcome,
Ray Daniels "Designing Great Beers" is also a good read

hi teufer5,
i am in Italy as well over in Aviano and new to Home Brewing. how is the scene over in milano? are there many supply store?

There are at least two very good beer stores (I stopped searching when I found a beer shop which also sells supplies for Home Brewing between my home and Città Studi, which is pretty comfortable).
Thanks for the suggestions!
