My neighbor is an ex-brewer and grows his own centennial and cascade which he doesn't use anymore and it always ends up in my yard. He told me i can have as much as i like and all he wants in return is an example of what i make. I got a bunch of hops from him and dried them but when i grab a handful they smell more like cut grass then hops. is this normal? do i need to cure them. when i rip one open its hoppier but nothing like the commercial ones i buy
