My Amana 19.6 cu ft freezer shot craps this weekend. I had intentions of eventually making it into a kegerator over the winter/spring. My question is, it seems everything comes on, light, fan, compressor is quiet but I think it comes on as well. The compressor gets hot but it stopped cooling/freezing. (Didn't lose much food because of it). I'm not a Maytag man and have do idea on what to do see if its worth salvaging or not. Any thoughts. I will have to buy a new freezer for the SWMBO before anything else though.
