I wandered into the security office at the college to drop off a TV and saw a mini-fridge sitting in their back room, unplugged. I made a joke that I would trade them the TV for the fridge.
Turns out that the fridge was left there by a former employee who didn't want to take it with him and they didn't have room for it anymore. So, it's not state property (meaning that it's legal to make disappear) and they didn't want it anymore. They shot me an email yesterday letting me know it's mine.
I don't even know the make and model or if it can be converted. But I can end up destroying it trying to make a kegerator out of it and I won't be out a cent.
