Forgot to chop raisins

Forgot to chop raisins in mead and threw them in whole. Besides less sugar from them is there anything else negative that will come of that?

No, it'll be fine. Chopping raisins is a messy sticky job, and I avoid it myself when I can.

Alright thanks haven’t done that way before and didn’t want to go through the trouble of pulling them out if I didn’t have to

I have been fermenting my mead for 3+ months now. I did not use raisins at all, in fact I used 3.2 lb honey in 1 gal of wash (or whatever its called). At some point I'll have to cold crash it and drink it and see. It fermented awesomely but was still a bit sweet a month ago at last taste.
