Forgot to add sugar!

So this is my first Mr. Beer batch, and my first batch ever. I was too excited yesterday to bottle and although I did every other step, I forgot to add the sugar. I bottled last night about 4pm, so do you think if I reopen the bottles tonight to add the sugar it's going to ruin what I already did? Or can I open them for a couple seconds to get a teaspoon or so of sugar in?

You have no choice but to re-open the bottles. Otherwise they will not carb. I think there are tablets that you can use placing one in each bottle that will carb them.

yeah i kinda figured that much, but i wanted to be sure. i don't really care so much if i mess up the mr. beer, i just want to remember for the future.

Almost did the same thing a few months back. filled about 3 bottles, and then... OMG, I forgot the feakin sugar!!

yeah, go to your beer store and get the tablets, they work great! They look like candy, but they're not...they're not.
