flow control taps/inline option

Multi part question here -- Looking for ideas on a 3/8" line.

If I understand resistance and the reason for using longer pvc lines to control put put flow of a tap then I have to ask.

If Perlick can produce a faucet that that has a flow control built in -- Is there another keezer option that would put some sort of adjustable flow control on the line so as to use regular faucets?

Would the flow control tap then allow me to use a shorter PVC or even stainless steel lines?

Please correct location if this needs to go in another area.

thanks all -- sorry-- not 3/8 .... 3/16 ... was working on another project and had 3/8 on the brain ... lines are 3/16 ID.
