Morning all,

Over the weekend my co2 cylinder died, and it appears to be from a leak on the air line. I've got a modified D tap with 1/4" flared fitting, and a 1/4" female screw cap on the air line itself. It *appears* to be leaking around this screw cap. I've got a worm clamp about as tight as physically possible on the flange in the line, but it's still leaking. The line itself is 5/16" normal air line stuff, but the flange on the inside is 1/4". It's been working great up to now, but it appears to have loosened somehow.

What are my options for fixing this? Would something like teflon tape help or is that only effective for water seals? I really only need a temporary fix for a couple weeks, as I'll be dismantling the whole thing soon and moving it over to my new keezer in June.

Thanks!

I would use a soapy water solution on all the fittings so you can be sure where the leak is. I'm not sure about the teflon tape, but I think it's worth a try if you have it lying around. Just put more soapy water on it afterward to verify it's fixed.
