I have read that you can use a fishtank aerator to aerate my wort. Can you use the same kind of stones on the end of your hose, or do you have to buy a different stone?

yea bull dog you need a stainless steel stone, why? they can be sterilized, boil or soak, and they hold up forever if you take care of it, just don't touch it with your fingers, the oil in your hands can clog and contaminate the stone. You can find one at northern brewer
