Yesterday my aeration stone didn't have good bubble action, even though last time I used it I boiled it when I was done. Yesterday, I let it soak in PBW for half hour then rinsed. When I got home I put my microfilter on and put it in water, BUBBLES! I took the stone out of the water, removed the filter, or it back on my professional fish pump, no bubbles. I blew it out, or it back together without the filter, bubbles. Took it out again, waited about 10 seconds, put it back in the water, nothing. No bubbles until I blew it out again. Why does the stone seem not to work if wet and put back in solution?
