I do this all the time. It gives my brews a bracing mineral edge, especially if I've been taking my multivitamins.

i didn't have a free fermenter, so I drained my toilet and fermented in that. God knows I've peed in it enough times to make it REALLY sanitary.

I'm thinking it would be even better to just carb it in there. That way if I drink too much, it will make things that much easier. :D

WELL PHUCK!!

I used gobs of silicone lube on both lids, and drilled a hole in the top for the air lock, but I still can't get a good seal!

Mostly because my kids keep lifting up the lid and peeing in it.

I swear, I am going to kill them.

I thought Miller Ultra was 90% Urine?!?!?!??

Industrial espionage? Recipe stealing? I mean, carbonating your sanitizer may seem obvious, but it takes some guts!

Thanks! I have bang bang shrimp planned and maybe some wings.

Good luck with your opener and your planned espionage!

:mug:

please, try to stay on topic guys.

I started doing this a while back. made some skeeter pee lon would be proud of.
i got more and more into the idea of using your own body to help in the brewin process, then, BAM! it hit me.
i've begun using my saliva rather than mashing.
you know, it's really all about making more of the beer "yours"

shouldn't this thread be in the ramblings forum?

whomever mentioned crapping in their hand for shampoo has me laughing at my desk like an idiot. Thanks a lot.

Seriously thinking about foregoing the StarSan from here on out.

Yeah... I went there. What of it?

Can I microwave my grain, to kill off any bacteria, so that I don't need to sanitize my equipment?
My dog licks my fermentors clean so I have that covered.

I'm trying to shorten by brew day and if I can get away without having to clean and sanitize it would save some time. :fro:
