First Time Fuggle

I'm new to growing hops and have a fuggle vine beginning on my balcony. It's a south facing space and gets a ton of sun every day. I've been watering it thoroughly 2x/day and it was developing pretty quickly at first.

It has since seemed to stall on the rope a little and I see some leaves yellowing. Are my babies in trouble?

Sounds and looks like overwatering to me. I have been there and done that. Watering twice a day has to be too much however.
I live in san diego and I don't water my first years nearly that much. I tend to do every 2 to 3 days.

Thanks! I kept reading about how much hops need water in July and guess I overdid it.
