... home of Dogfish Head restaurant/brewery! (sippin on a 60 min IPA now!) (Although I'll be moving to Racine, Wisconsin at the end of January for two months... I'll be missing my Dogfish Head!)
Thought I'd drop a line and say hello! My wife bought me a Cooper's beer kit for Christmas with two cans of lager and one can of pilsner. Not exactly a tough brew I don't think, but good enough for a beginner. Coopers (as I found out) is an Australian brewing company, so I'm having to convert all their recipes from metric to US standard... Oh well! Their equipment seems sturdy/quality enough.
My first batch of the lager is already bottled and the 2nd in bubbling away happily in the fermenter as we speak!
One question that's been bothering me for a while is what AG means. I seem to be able to find the definitions to most if not all of the other common abbreviations/ acronyms, but not that one!
...And as I sit here and type this I have a thought. It means "all grain," right? Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Thanks!
